Freches, in my opinion, only look good if you have strong, long and healthy nails.. Otherwise once again in my opinion they look horrible.
For the person who said short nails are 'in' what magazine are you reading? Girls with short nails are too tomboyish.. There is only one reason a girl should have short nails and that is because the do a sport that doesn't allow it.
