Yes, you can get a french manicure done on even short nails. They will even appear longer than they actually are. You might want to paint the white part a tiny bit more than the actual white part of your nail to make it seem longer. But don't overdo it. Heres a site where you can see although quite long, the french manicure does look longer than the nail painted orange even though they are probably the same length.
