How do you give yourself a good french manicure for your toes?

I don't have much time to get one done professionally so i thought i'd do it myself one night....any tips???How do you give yourself a good french manicure for your toes?
Have a really steady hand (the right and the left) so it looks neat, and wait until the natural color (the sheer or soft pink) coat dries. The key to a really good french manicure at home is waiting until the paint dries. I saw in CVS that sally hansen has this new nail art pen. It will probably be your best bet for FM @ home. the link is below

It depends on whether you want your toenails to be a bit long or just short. if they're long, you can shape them with a nail file to make them square. If you don't want them to be completely square, round them out.

If you just want your nails to be short, then file them to make sure the ends are smooth.

For both styles of length, you get a piece of tape and put it on your nail, so that it's that straight line you want. You leave a bit of space between the end of your nail and the tape so you can paint it white. Or, you can go to the store and buy french nail lines that you stick on that are more rounded, and paint over them to make the line.
Use tape! Like masking tape or something like that. I would do the white first and then put clear over it...sounds like a good plan at least. Never tried it, well, considering im a guy,
i have tried for years to give myself a good french pedi.... but after many failed attempts, i pay $25 to have someone else do it.... its well worth the money!
